Today is a day in history that most people have long since forgotten.
It’s a little known fact that I’m a huge WWII fan. Not exactly sure why but for some reason I find it interesting.
You already know the story – In 1941 Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, bringing the United States into World War II. The attack was a total surprise, but instead of dong long term damage to the US Pacific fleet…. It only pissed everyone off. Badly I might add. But intead of talking about the bad aspects of the war, I should mention what happened afterwards. War is hell; It’s a horrible thing. But from the ashes a new country emerged with a solid relationship with the US. Look at Japan now and tell me they arn’t doing well.
Makes you wonder how the Middle East will turn out, doesn’t it?
